No, I did not want to "take this offline" because all the decision makers are in this meeting and taking it offline will also make it take so much longer. Ugh!
Love when I get to join the Wed Coworking session - I was finally able to finish part of a work task during it that I’ve been struggling to get through!
Also, I keep meaning to ask, how much overlap there is between the audio course and the zine? I have the audio course already (but I need to start it!) and was considering the zine as well but wasn’t sure if it is similar content in different formats or totally different content.
So glad you were able to join today! There is definitely some overlap of the mindset and strategies— there’s a lot more in the audio class, but we made the zine for more novelty and a different way of digesting the information :)
I attended my first coworking session and it was so good! Thank you! And all those corporate jargon phrases make me want to run away and never come back. Another one I hate "30,000 feet view." Who came up with these?
This isn't jargon really but a recent pet peeve of mine in my sales inbox is "just popping this back to the top of your inbox" etc. Like ma'am, it's only been a few hours and now I'm going to take even longer out of spite
Any reference to fire. "Fire drills" "Putting out fires" etc. This is marketing, not the burning of wildlife or homes!!! Also calling conference rooms "War rooms."
Any version of “we’re a family” or “workplace family” etc. — red flag, no thank you!
Hahahha yes one dysfunctional family is enough for me, thanks!
“Ping me!”
To where? With what? How?
Pinging has never been native to any communication technology so far as I know — where did it come from?!
😂

Thanks so much 🩷 so happy to have you here!
"We will need to go away and come back to discuss that further".
Request: could we get some new teaspoons for the kitchen?
Thanks for amplifying! Filmstackers, unite!
"Let's touch base" makes my skin crawl. Please keep your base away from me 😂
‘delight the customer.’ kiss it!
Will the book be available in digital format/kindle? So exciting 💓🤩✨

“We need to socialize/ are socializing this.” Instead of “informing” or “training”. It’s a new process not a new work culture.
