I'm a few weeks behind, but it's been so incredible so far. I've finally picked up new little hobbies I've always wanted to try - drawing, for example! Always believed I just wasn't an artist but this book has me feeling inspired to try and work at it if I really want it, and having the patience to be bad at first!

Thanks for all these great conversations… here and on your podcast.

I’ve also tuned in to conversations about how to nurture our right brain capabilities. Our culture values & promotes Left brain ways of being and understanding our lives. The two sides don’t function independently but the Left is so dominant. Your chat about doodling and making art without a fully formed plan made me think about this too.

I have moved away from Meta platforms for many reasons. I’m not on Substack as a writer/creator but from the start I have found it to be a calmer, friendlier place. If you were working or socialising somewhere that made you a bit uncomfortable or you just weren’t finding ‘your people’ there, you’d probably go somewhere else. It’s harder to leave and move in the online world if you have subscribers and a following that’s taken time and hard work. I do believe we need to go where we feel is right for us, even online. Seems like you guys are really tuning in to that too.
